Charred Tree Cabinet

The Charred Tree Cabinet is made of solid scrap wood. Routed into the front and wrapping the sides is an inspirational tree and new life is created with an otherwise discarded material.

I try to utilize every bit of material I can. However, my scrap pile was getting crowded.

I laid out and cut down any pieces that had potential

While not you conventionally built cabinet with standardized joints and techniques, the cabinet is a fully functional side piece with a reused ceramic tile top.

The exterior is burnt and charred for a uniform finish across different wood species and grades.
